Northern Illinois Justice For Our Neighbors provides high-quality immigration legal services at no cost to our clients.
United Methodists across this area are gathering in June. Each church is encouraged to receive an offering for NIJFON. This offering will allow NIFJON to bring immigration legal services that would not otherwise be available to many of our clients.

If you would like information about Executive Action, please click here for the Illinois is Ready Website complete with posters and a list of learning sessions.
Note that because of injunction on Feb. 17th, NO PROGRAM IS IN PLACE. Please do not pay anyone who promises to help because there is currently no way for anyone to receive any kind of documentation yet. Many scams are hurting those who would like to have help. Here is what we advise our constituents and potential clients to do:
1. Save Money (you will need it to apply for Executive Action when it is available).
2. Gather your documents. Locate your birth certificate, Diploma, matricula, Driver’s License, utility bills, or other information.
3. Attend a learning session, if needed. For a list of local congregations near you, contact firstname.lastname@example.org

Illinois is one of the states that now allows Temporary Driver’s Licenses (up to 3 years) for all people. Don’t be misled!
